Beloved

Isaiah 49:16 "See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands..."

Good morning, God's Beloved.

I'm reminded, as we move into another week, that we live and move and have our being in Divine Love. Love holds us. Love directs us. Love teaches us. Love compels us. Love moves us to love God and love others. The love of the Divine is first of all pure gift. Henry Nouwen proposes that becoming the Beloved is the great spiritual journey that we all have to make. Our whole life takes us on a road back to the One who first called us Beloved.

How might we embrace that identity today?
