Giver of Life and Goodness,
I rise with gratitude this morning to honor your living, animating breath in me. Receive my thanks and walk with me this day. Help me pay attention to the beauty all around me - in even the small and mundane parts of these next quickly-passing hours. May I move and interact out of a deep trust in your unfailing love. I embrace your promise that -
Motherlike you tend and spare us,
well our feeble frame you know.
In your hands you gently bare us
rescue us from all our foes.

widely yet your mercy flows.
